I didn’t know much about children before Julia so assumed that all babies required 30 minutes of lunges to rock them to sleep. Now I know why my friends who are parents never talked about that – their babies aren’t high needs. Because this is an unusual temperament, and one that seems to apply to babies randomly, I love reading other people’s take on their own high needs babies.
